Location is very nice in a more calm space with decent parking. Citrico cafe has a modern pretty interior with an option of inside or outside enclosed seating. Staff is very kind & checked up multiple times through dinner- Making sure we had drinks and that our food was good. Also let us choose where we wanted to be seated which is so great in my opinion. All the food was a 10/10 tasted fresh and seasoned exceptionally well. Our wait time for food was fast in a reasonable time manner. This service was great and our orders came out together. This is definitely a great date place or a night out with your friends type of spot. Very peaceful and great music.

What a wonderful brunch experience at Citrico Cafe. We were welcomed by the host and transported elsewhere by the beautiful decor. The resturant was bright and airy with the skyroofs. We ordered apps - corn ribs were crisp and full of flavor, the nachos was a show stopper in presentation and taste. Drinks were strong. My only compliant a virgin drink was the same as a margarita with alcohol..how sway? Our mains were soo good. My brazino was seasoned to perfection, light and crispy. The accompanying sides was just enuff to complete the meal. I will be repeating for brunch and checking out there dinner menu

My 2024 obsession! Legit come here 2x a month and I get their seafood flight every damn time. Btw I'm not even a seafood girlie.. at all. But their oysters?! Perfect combo of citrus and spice. Gaucarita sounds weird but also so so good! Service is ok - but not bad, just nothing has stuck out to me. But the ambiance is super nice. Perfect GNO or date night & usually have a Dj playing some nice background music on the weekends. HIGHLY recommend. Honestly with the amount of referrals I give this place I deserve a bonus LOL

I want to preface the review with saying that I love this place. The food is amazing, the drinks are just as great and the ambiance is beautiful. There are nights when they have live music and it's really enjoyable. Unfortunately the last two times I've been there I've been disappointed with their server Myra T. She was my groups waitress each time and she's not attentive. I understand a busy night or even an off night but having her twice in a row and not seeing improvement is proof it's her. I ask for water, she never goes back to fill my glass. All our orders came one by one. She didn't time anything and before any of this she only took one persons order and left. When we called her back she said my friend had ordered for the entire table. Us, "so you think we only want one order of nachos for a part of 7?" She was annoyed and took our order but our orders came separately. Then the check drops and she over charges us for things we didn't order. Again the food was still great, the drinks sensational but the service is lack luster.

Finally got a chance to try this place and let me just say YES. The ambiance, the service, the food, the drinks -- everything was chefs kiss. They have a pretty good happy hour deal that includes both food and drinks, we love that! Their shrimp ceviche is easily some of the best i've ever had and the baja shrimp tacos were pretty good. Pro tip: If you're looking to visit here on a thursday and you're on a date or out with a friend and you want to talk, they do do live music on thursdays starting at 8. Something to consider if you don't want to be yelling over the music/band. Will def be back again!

Great vibe and food in the heart of Astoria! Love the tacos in here that is more modern in style - ie pork belly, fried fish. Also, don't sleep on their appetizer. My absolute favorite is their steak over fries, a good mix of grilled smoky steak, cheese, and guacamole. Their corn finger is also great btw! I was also surprised by their burger. One hack is their happy hour, tacos and appetizers are all great values! Great decor as well indoor with amazing friday night vibe.

Best corn ribs in Queens! Whenever I come here I order them. It's really hard to share them, because they are that good. Honestly everything I've had here is absolute fire. From the Coca Cola short rib tacos to their amazing drink menu. This spot specifically specializes in mezcal drinks. I don't love mezcal and sometimes I ask them to switch to regular tequila and they are always willing to abide by my request. The staff is always accommodating. The place itself is a vibe. It's just simply beautiful. They also have an enclosed outdoor seating area that's just as nice as the inside of this spot. They are also located across from Kaufman studios. Will we ever get a celeb siting when dining there? I'm not sure, but I do usually luck out with a parking spot! Moral of the story: Corn Ribs AAF

Miami and Mexico made a baby in Astoria and Citrico Cafe was born. This Mexican cafe and agaveria offers New Mexican cuisine with a creative flare. The dishes are vibrant, the space is gorgeous and you don't even realize for a moment where you're at since it feels like you're somewhere tropical and high end. The food is so delicious and vibrant and for sure something you won't forget. Portions aren't huge, you might leave a little hungry but either way, it's delicious. We totally missed their happy hour specials until 7pm (Mon-Fri), they even have a late night happy hour from 11pm-12am (Weds-Mon) and all day happy hour on Tuesdays - fun! I had the chicharrones de hongo quesadilla which my brain is still talking about. They weren't the usual quesadillas we're used to but more of the traditional Mexican ones, using fresh made tortillas, delicious mushroom and melted Oaxaca cheese. The drinks (for most of our table of 5) were pretty underwhelming **sadly**. They weren't terrible, but they just were extremely forgettable. I regret NOTHING with my horchata martini which was delicious and something I'd definitely order Other than that, it was an awesome overall experience, they had a live DJ playing music in the back, sparkler desserts going around and it really made it feel like you were somewhere tropical and fun.
